Nichirin (日輪, nee-chee-rin), officially the Miyamoto Shogunate (宮本幕府, Aldrige: Miyamoto Bakufu, MEE-yah-moh-toh BAH-koo-foo), is a country in Northern Valtheria. Bounded by the Hyperborean Ocean to the north and the Bay of Serica to the east, it borders Rudania to the south and Guandong to the east. With a population exceeding 371 million on its mainland and 167 million in the wider Aureate Co-Prosperity Sphere, it is the third-most populous country. Mainland Nichirin is divided into 4 specially administered regions (SARs), 44 prefectures, and 15 autonomous prefectures. The capital of Nichirin and its largest city is Shinkeisei, located in the world's largest metropolitan area, which has a population exceeding 38 million.
