Auritania (Auritania, or-ih-TAY-nee-uh), officially the Glorious Republic of Auritania (Gloriosa República de Auritania, glo-RYO-sa reh-POO-blee-kah deh ow-ree-TAH-nee-ah), is a country in Southern Elysia. It borders Hollosend to the north and Ponurvia through the Aztekische Islands, while having maritime access to the Western Panthalassan Ocean to the west, the Bay of Anahuac to the southwest, the Terranova Gulf to the northeast, and the Sea of Auritania to the southeast and processing a large lake, Lake Nahá, and the northern portion of Lake Tranquility. Auritania covers 2,931,723 km² (1,131,945 sq mi), and is the 6th largest country in the world by land area. With a population exceeding 141 million as of 1931, Auritania is the 10th most populous country in the world and is home to the largest number of native Oestenic speakers. Auritania City is the capital and largest city in Auritania, which ranks among the most populous metropolitan areas in the world.
